5 Pinterest Recipes I've been MEANING to make! - Orchard Girls

I was looking through my pinterest boards, and came to my "Recipes to Try" board. Okay, sounds like a great board, but how great is it? Really? If I never actually make any of the recipes on there? I chose 5 that I really want to make. Hopefully I can make it happen in the next few weeks months!

1. Honey Glazed Chicken and Bacon Bites

     Ingredients:-1 pound boneless chicken breasts
-20 thin bacon slices
-3 tbsp honey
-2 tsp coarse mustard
-fresh lemon juice

2. Spicy Thai Noodles

Ingredients:-1 Box Linguine or Angel Hair Pasta
-1 to 2 tbsp. crushed red pepper
-1/4 c. vegetable oil
-1/2 c. sesame oil
-6 tbsp honey
-6 tbsp. soy sauce
-green onions, cilantro

3. Chicken Tortilla Soup

Ingredients:
- 3 Chicken Breasts - 2 Cans of Beans 
- 1 Tbsp of minced Garlic
- 1 Can Diced Tomatoes
- 1 Can Enchilada Sauce 
- 3-4 Cups of Chicken Stock
- Crushed Tortilla Chips
- Mexican Cheese

4. Broccoli Cheese Rice Casserole

Ingredients:
-
4 tablespoons butter, plus more for greasing pan
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon sea salt and a few cracks fresh black pepper
2 + 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
1/3 cup fresh Parmesan cheese, shredded
3 cups cooked rice ( I used brown)
2 -3 cups cooked broccoli florets

5. Roasted Garlic, Chicken & White Herb Pizza

Ingredients:


  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 1 Tbls butter
  • 8 cloves roasted garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbls all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup skim milk
  • ¼ cup half and half
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1½ cup boneless skinless chicken breast, cooked and shredded¼ cup red onion, diced
  • ¾ cup Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • 1 Tbls fresh parsley, chopped

    1. Probably this one: Chicken Tortilla Soup. I am not a huge fan of pizza but I like the last recipe also: Roasted Garlic, Chicken & White Herb Pizza

    2. I vote for the first one - can't go wrong with chicken and bacon! And love the idea of "recipes to try" board. Even thought of copying it, but don't know if I could handle the pressure :). Found you at the Ducks 'n a Row blog hop!

    3. Oh my goodness...I can see why these are all on your to-make list! They all look delicious. I honestly don't know which one I'd try first, though the Chicken Tortilla Soup sounds pretty perfect on a cold day like today.

    4. I just tried the Spicy Thai Noodles and they are soooo good! I need to make some spicy wontons to pair with them.
