Hi, we're Kenzie and Kayla - welcome to Orchard Girls!
We've been best friends since age 14. We spent almost every night and weekend together all through highschool, and roomed/lived together all through college. Some said we were connected at the hip. Imagine the surprise when we ended up marrying brothers. Every girl dreams that her best friend would be her sister. Well, our dream came true!

Hi, I'm Kayla, wife to Daniel and mama to Adeline and Simon. I graduated with my bachelor's degree in community services with a focus in psychology. A year after I graduated from college I started dating Daniel in July 2011, got engaged in October 2011, and got married February 2012. What? All that happened in 8 months? Pretty crazy, but yes! And guess what? I wouldn't change a thing. Daniel is the love of my life and I am so blessed that God brought us together (with the help of Kenzie and Adam)! We have two amazing children, Adeline who just turned 2, and Simon who will turn 1 in May. They're only 18 months apart and keep me so busy, but being a stay at home mom to these precious two kids has been an amazing adventure and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Hey everyone, I'm Kenzie. My husband, Adam and I met in college, back in 2007. We've been married since Fall of 2009. In 2008, Adam was commissioned as an Officer in the Marine Corps and we lived on opposite ends of the country for almost 2 years! Since then, we have enjoyed life on the North Carolina coast, endured an overseas deployment, and have moved back to Adam's childhood home. Also during this time, my best friend married my brother-in-law! We had our first child, Benjamin, in July of 2014. It has been a whirlwind, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Oh, and we have 2 dog children, Bella and Lucy.
Hi guys! This is so cool. Love, Your Mother-in Law

Hi girls, just discovered your blog today. The linky party blog list is great, bookmarked it for future use. I am just now starting to link up to them! My husband is in the USMC and we live on the NC coast too. Do you know of any blogging communities or conferences for our area? Still pretty new here and haven't found any local bloggers with similar interests. Love to hear back from you two!
ReplyDeleteHi, Kathy! I'm glad you're able to use the Linky Party list! We've found that linky parties are a GREAT source for getting your posts out and in the open. Kenzie and her husband were able to move back home (west coast) last year and we actually just started our blog a couple of months ago. So we are still getting the hang of this ourselves. Stay in touch! :)
