Today I want to share with you my Dollar Store Coaster Redo. This project was so easy, and I am so happy with the results. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how they turned out. This is what the coasters looked like when I bought them from the dollar store (1.00/each) BUT they already come backed with cork board - so that's a plus.
Okay, nothing wrong with these coasters, just not quite the theme I am trying to go with :)
Here are my coasters:
Alright, here is what you'll need...
1. Wipe off your coasters - trace your coasters onto your choice of scrapbook paper
2. Cut out your squares
3. Apply a thin/even layer of mod podge to the coaster
4. Firmly press your scrapbook paper square on the coaster - evenly to assure no bubbles
5. Once that is dried (a few minutes) Add a layer of mod podge over the scrapbook paper.
*I aded about 3 layers of mod podge over the scrapbook paper*
(be sure to let each layer dry before applying the next layer)
