“I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central (#MC) for OshKosh B’gosh. I received an OshKosh B’gosh gift card to purchase product and to thank me for my participation.” (#sponsored) #GIVEHAPPY *All thoughts and opinions are our own*
OshKosh Bgosh is such a great brand. I love going to OshKosh for trendy, durable, classic clothes for my kids. This season OshKosh wants to give back and encourage others to #GiveHappy, whatever that means to you and your family. For us, the Christmas season is definitely more about giving, than receiving and I definitely want to instill this value in my children, as well!

OshKosh B'gosh is the go-to retailer for children's clothes, both for the holiday and everyday. In my experience their clothes are very durable, and they always have the classic pieces, that really, are timeless. In fact, I have an OshKosh jean overall dress that my mother-in-law gave me for Addie, that was my sister-in-law's when she was little. I can't wait for it to fit Addie! Although Oshkosh has timeless pieces, they also stay up to date with the latest trends and fashions, which is great. Being able to have clothes for your kids that are both fashionable and comfortable is really important, and I believe you can achieve that with OshKosh. Due to weather, we weren't able to visit our local store, but we were able to shop online, which was a great experience and can't wait for our packages to arrive! Shopping online is made easy with quality web design and great pictures for every piece. Online shopping also makes it easy to find the right size you're looking for.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to purchase these clothes in time for our Christmas pictures, but I was so excited to get some cute pictures of the kids in their new clothes that we can #givehappy and share with family and friends who live out of state, that we don't get to see that often. Also, to keep and display in our home!

Kenzie and I were able to split this gift card and purchase clothes for all our kids. With OshKosh's good deals and coupons I really feel like the money went pretty far and we were able to get a lot for the money. I may or may not have spent an extra $40.00 on top of what we were given! :) Here is a little Oshkosh Christmas outfit inspiration for you all!

Simon's 6 Month Update

I am a little late at getting this post up, but I wanted to wait until we had Simon's 6 month check-up, which was today. We are all doing really well, and can't believe it has been 6 months already, half a year, whoa, that is crazy to think about.
I had a joint doctor appointment for both of the kids today. Simon is 17lbs, 2.5oz // 27in tall // 40th percentile for weight and 50th percentile for height and head size. Adeline (2yrs old) is 50th percentile for height and weight, and 25th percentile for head size, apparently she has a small head. Haha. Simon is doing really well, but has been a bit more fussy the past week or so, I think it may be due to some teething, or who knows, it could be from all the extra activity from Thanksgiving and a busy schedule. It is hard to say, but this past month has been so busy for our family. We are going through a lot of changes and it has been a little stressful on Daniel and I. Overall, this kids have been doing great, and we are almost able to settle back down and get back into a routine.
Simon has continued to breastfeed like a champ (which you can tell by his little chubby thigh rolls). However, we continue to struggle with feeding him baby food. He has tried a big range of baby food, but still seems far from interested. Over Thanksgiving my Mom fed him some mashed potatoes and he LOVED them. He also was interested in some soft stuffing. Maybe its just the taste of baby food? Not quite sure, but we continue to try and feed him some solids (baby food) once a day to get him used to it. Sleeping has more or less been consistent. He usually falls asleep in the living room around 8:45-9 and then I feed him at 10 and put him in his bed for the night. He is still waking up once a night to eat. Last night he slept until 5:30, which was amazing. He still wakes up every once in a while throughout the night, and I just have to get up and give him his binky  and he'll fall back asleep. Simon has been taking two naps during the day. A morning nap and then a longer afternoon nap.
These two have been having a blast together. Addie would very much like it if Simon could get up and run around with her. But they continue to entertain each other, even thought he isn't mobile yet, which is fun to see.
Milestones:
-Simon is officially a pro at sitting up. He occasionally "gracefully" face-plants, but it doesn't usually bother him. He has been pretty content while on his tummy, because he can push himself up with his arms now. He hasn't tried to get up on his knees though, and I'm okay with that :)
-Continuing to work on eating baby food, but has tried a variety of new flavors as well as a few non-baby foods
-My mom is convinced that he said, "hi". I wouldn't be surprised because everytime Addie walks up to him she says, "hiiiiiiiii"!
-He is wearing anywhere from 3-6 month clothing to 12 month clothing (whaaaaaat?)
-Responds to his name and will look at your when you say Simon.
That's all for now! Be sure to stop by again tomorrow for a fun post filled with cute pictures AND an exclusive 25% off coupon at OshKosh B'gosh!!
