Kenzie: 32 Week Update + Bump Picture

Happy Thursday! Today, I'm going to share my 32 week update with you guys! I feel like I haven't done one of these in a while. Things are definitely getting bigger and more exciting around here!
How far along: 32 weeks & 4 days
Total weight gain/loss: As of yesterday, I've gained 30 pounds. Up to 156.
Maternity clothes: Yep. I'm still wearing some of my longer shirts (the floral one in the pic is not maternity, but found it at Forever 21, figured it would work since it is so long!) Been loving maxi skirts, also.
Sleep: It's alright. I get up about 4 times to pee, and am constantly rolling around trying to get comfortable.  You should see my pillow arrangement.
Best moment this week: I quit working last week, so that has been awesome. I've been getting so much more done around the house. I never worked tons of hours, but it was enough to wear me out for the day. Plus, sitting in a chair for more than even a half hour was getting pretty uncomfortable- things start going numb.
Movement: Not as many kicks, but lots of rolling movements. Also, jabs in the pelvis & ribcage. Oh, and so many hiccups!
Food cravings: I've just been really thirsty. Been drinking tons of water.
Gender: BOY!
Labor signs: I don't think so. I keep reading that I should be feeling braxton hicks, but I haven't. At least I don't think so... this is my first rodeo, though, so I may just not know how they feel.
Belly button- in or out?: Haha. It's interesting. It's pretty flat, sticks out a bit when baby boy is pushed up against it. Kayla & my Mom say they've never seen one quite like mine, since it has sort of disappeared in shape and color.
What I miss: Just moving around easier.
What I am looking forward to: Waiting for Kayla's baby boy to make his appearance very soon!
Milestones: Nursery is 95% done. Also, have bags packed for the hospital already! I will post about that pretty soon.

At my appointment yesterday, Doc said everything is looking good. Baby is now head down, and is measuring average- so should end up being around 7-8 pounds. I sort of jokingly asked if I was going to get any bigger, since I feel like I already look full term (and people keep telling me so!). The Doc goes, "hahaha...yes." Totally serious. I think it has something to do with being short(er) and having a short torso, it just kinda sticks out there, but measures normal. Also, blood count was low, and was reminded to get in my iron!

If anyone is looking for some cute outfits, I just picked up the cutest going home outfit at Walmart. Go take a looksie if you're in the baby clothes shopping mood- which I always am!
I hope you all are having a fabulous week. The sun is shining here and it's lovely- makes me so happy. I will be back again next Wednesday with a delicious recipe to share. :)

  1. You look great and I love that forever 21 shirt! Can't believe you are at 32 weeks already - I've been following this blog for a while, just haven't actually commented. (I know, I am awful!) I am so excited for you and Kayla! What fun!

  2. I love your tummy! You're almost there :) I hear you about being short with a short torso... I looked further along than I was, and my tummy had nowhere to go but out lol! Enjoy it (doesn't your bellybutton look so cool in a curious way at the end of pregnancy lol :P ) Remember to rest too and have a good Weekend!
