Weekend happenings + FREE Christmas Card List Printable!

Hey guys! Happy Thanksgiving week (that's a thing, right?) Well, if not..it is now! I love Thanksgiving! We had a pretty busy weekend. My sister and nephew came over to visit for a few days. Adeline had SO much fun with her cousin! As you can see here...
While they were here, my sister took our Christmas card pictures. Addie was over due for a nap, so we didn't have too many shots to choose from, but we did get a few good ones! Here is one of my favorites of Adeline...
We got to go to a family early Thanksgiving dinner party. It was a lot of fun and the food was SO delcious! I started putting up Christmas decorations this weekend, too. Some may say it's too early, but really there are only about 30 days til Christmas! I can't believe it.
If you're planning the family Thanksgiving dinner this year, don't forget to print out our FREE Thanksgiving Meal Plan Printable! Today, I have a FREE Christmas Card List Printable. I ordered our Christmas cards and made this printable to keep track of who we're sending cards to, their addresses, and if I've completed their card. It's great for staying organized.
You can print this out by downloading the document HERE!

Inexpensive Christmas Gifts: 7 Gifts Under $10

Hey all! I'm back with another Christmas gifts post. I thought I'd put together some options that you can buy, but are under 10 dollars. Not everyone wants to make gifts, and I think this is the way to go if you're tight on money.

First is a gift I actually received one year from a neighbor. I thought it was a really great idea!

You can get these hand soaps from Bath & Body Works for 3 bucks a pop if you buy 5 of them. And you could pair it with a cute holiday inspired kitchen towel. This one is from Ikea.

Do you have a beauty lover  in you family? If so this might be the perfect gift.
This is a really cute makeup set from Elf. It has eyeshadow, blush, bronzer, lip color, and some eyeliner. I've had good experiences with Elf products in the past, and I think this might be fun to just mess around with. Elf actually has a lot more holiday sets out this year, at varying prices.

Anyone who loves tea?
Here are some tea sampler sets from World Market. There is a set of white tea, black tea, and chai tea.

Also, at World Market...
This super cute owl utensil holder. They also have a matching cookie jar, and spoon rest.

Ikea has some cute blankets that are always pretty inexpensive.
These fleece ones come in red, green, and gray. They're kind of festive without being obnoxious.

I always think plants are a good idea, too.
This little set of cacti is already assembled. Plus, they're easy to care for. You could also buy individual succulents and pick out little pots to put them in.

I have some of these glasses and I love them. I think they would be a really great gift.

This was a fun post to come up with. While I was searching around, I found some really great stuff I might end up getting my family this year.

I hope you all are doing well. It's getting pretty cold around here, and our trees are losing all of their leaves. I'm not quite ready for the winter yet, but it seems ready to be here.

Talk to you all soon,

WWEW: Bell Pepper & Ranch Wrap

Welcome back to What We Eat Wednesday! As I was prepping for a small road trip, I decided I needed to make some sandwiches for our dinner. For some reason a sandwich just didn't sound good, so I decided to whip up some wraps.

In college, I went through a period of time where I ate a wrap everyday for lunch. I was trying to be healthy, well, healthier than Little Caesar's pizza or Taco Bell. Since I was also dirt poor, I made them with the same few ingredients. So, here is a variation of the wraps I ate (and became very sick of for a long time).

Ingredients:
-1 flour tortilla, warmed in the microwave with a wet paper towel
- about 1 Tbs ranch dressing
-4 pieces of ham or turkey lunch meat
-a handful of lettuce leaves, not chopped but not huge
-a handful of sliced bell pepper
-salt & pepper to taste

I layer it like this:
Tortilla, some ranch, meat, lettuce, bell peppers, a bit more ranch down the middle, salt & pepper
Now, just roll it on up as tight as you can, and cut it down the middle. Enjoy!
These are such easy and inexpensive lunches. They're really fulfilling too, more so than a plain ol' sandwich. There are two other wraps I made quite a bit, too.

1. Cream cheese, turkey lunchmeat, lettuce, and cucumber. I also really like this with feta cheese.
2. If I felt fancy, I'd buy a can of cranberry sauce and make a cream cheese, turkey, lettuce, and cranberry wrap.

I hope you all are having a great week. I'm actually out of town this week, as my Dad is having open heart surgery. Please, keep him in your prayers as he is recovering now.

Talk to you all again soon,
